Ils ont confi\u00e9 la conception au c\u00e9l\u00e8bre cabinet d\u2019architecture navale VPLP (Marc Van Peteghem et Vincent Lauriot Pr\u00e9vost). Ce magnifique catamaran a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en polyester par le talentueux chantier naval fran\u00e7ais Outremer, renomm\u00e9 pour les qualit\u00e9s marines et les performances de ses bateaux. Il est robuste, rigide, s\u00fbr, confortable, tr\u00e8s marin et rapide. Pour faire simple, cet Outremer 55 est, sans aucun doute, ce qui se fait de plus abouti et le meilleur choix pour une croisi\u00e8re autour du monde en \u00e9quipage r\u00e9duit.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce multicoque tr\u00e8s haut de gamme, tout transpire la performance :<br \/>\nDes coques effil\u00e9es, une bonne hauteur de plateforme, une construction tr\u00e8s rigide avec un poids inf\u00e9rieur aux autres catamarans de m\u00eame taille, et deux d\u00e9rives sabres pour un excellent cap au pr\u00e8s et des surfs pouvant aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 de 30 n\u0153uds au portant. De plus, elles permettent l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux eaux peu profondes.<br \/>\nAu cours de leur tour du monde, les distances parcourues en 24 heures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 entre 150 et 300 miles, le plus souvent 220 \u00e0 240 miles par jour.<\/p>\n<p>Ses \u00e9quipements high-techs ne sont pas \u00e9trangers \u00e0 ses excellentes performances :<br \/>\nCloisons, poutre avant, poutre de compression, bossoirs, et barres en carbone. M\u00e2t rotatif Lorima en carbone, b\u00f4me Lorima en carbone, gr\u00e9ement en Kelvar, enrouleurs Facnor pour g\u00e9nois, trinquette, et gennaker, winchs Harken (3 x 60 \u00e9lectriques + 2 x 60 manuels + 1 x 50 \u00e9lectrique), garde-robe Dfi Incidence (Grand-voile full batten 104 m\u00b2 + Genois 64 m\u00b2 + Trinquette 30 m\u00b2 + Tourmentin 15 m\u00b2 + Gennaker 130 m\u00b2 + Spinnaker asym\u00e9trique 185 m\u00b2).<\/p>\n<p>Le plan de pont a \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement optimis\u00e9s pour que ce catamaran soit man\u0153uvrable par un couple. Les deux postes de barres sont abrit\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re du roof, \u00e0 port\u00e9e des winchs, et bien d\u00e9port\u00e9s pour une bonne visibilit\u00e9 sur tout le pont. Le bimini rigide prot\u00e8ge le cockpit et porte une partie des panneaux solaires. Les autres panneaux solaires sont fix\u00e9s sur les bossoirs. L\u2019acc\u00e8s aux jupes arri\u00e8re est ais\u00e9 par les deux escaliers et l\u2019embarquement dans l\u2019annexe est tr\u00e8s facile.<br \/>\nLe cockpit est vaste, avec une table repliable et deux confortables banquettes. Il peut \u00eatre ferm\u00e9 par des b\u00e2ches lat\u00e9rales et arri\u00e8re. A l\u2019avant, les deux grands trampolines permettent un bon passage dans la mer form\u00e9e et peuvent recevoir des matelas de bain de soleil au mouillage.<\/p>\n<p>Une grande baie vitr\u00e9e coulissante permet d\u2019acc\u00e9der de plain-pied \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du bateau. L\u2019am\u00e9nagement de la plateforme est ergonomique et convivial, tr\u00e8s bien pens\u00e9 pour le confort en mer. Cet espace ouvert est baign\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re naturelle gr\u00e2ce aux nombreuses fen\u00eatres avant et lat\u00e9rales. Il est am\u00e9nag\u00e9 avec un grand ilot central et la cuisine \u00e0 b\u00e2bord, un poste de navigation central avec console \u00e0 instruments, table \u00e0 carte, et fauteuil de barre. Le salon\/salle \u00e0 manger est \u00e0 tribord avec canap\u00e9 en L et table extensible mont\u00e9e sur pieds r\u00e9glables. En abaissant cette table, on obtient un lit double d\u2019appoint.<\/p>\n<p>Les cabines sont dans les coques. Ce catamaran peut accueillir 8 personnes dans 4 cabines.<br \/>\n. Dans la coque b\u00e2bord, la cabine double des propri\u00e9taires est \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re. La salle de bain et les wc sont s\u00e9par\u00e9s. A<br \/>\nl\u2019avant se trouve un bureau convertible en cabine invit\u00e9s avec des lits superpos\u00e9s.<br \/>\n. Dans la coque tribord, il y a une cabine double arri\u00e8re et une cabine double avant, partageant la m\u00eame salle de bain<br \/>\nsitu\u00e9e au milieu.<\/p>\n<p>Propuls\u00e9 par deux moteurs Volvo de 60 cv, ce navire atteint une vitesse de pointe de 10 n\u0153uds et une vitesse de croisi\u00e8re de 8 n\u0153uds. En navigant \u00e0 6 n\u0153uds sur un seul moteur, il ne consomme plus que 3 litres\/heure et a une autonomie de 1.000 miles.<\/p>\n<p>Bateau bien \u00e9quip\u00e9 avec du mat\u00e9riel de qualit\u00e9 et des solutions efficaces pour obtenir une autonomie compl\u00e8te, un poids maitris\u00e9, une grande fiabilit\u00e9, et un faible co\u00fbt d\u2019entretien :<br \/>\n. Des plaques \u00e9lectriques et un four \u00e9lectrique permettent de s\u2019affranchir du gaz, pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et les probl\u00e8mes<br \/>\nd\u2019approvisionnement.<br \/>\n. Un dessalinisateur Dessalator de 100 l\/h.<br \/>\n. \u00c9lectronique de navigation B&amp;G Hercule compl\u00e8te.<br \/>\n. Syst\u00e8mes de communications par satellite Iridium et Starlink, ainsi qu\u2019un AIS et une balise de d\u00e9tresse.<br \/>\n. This magnificent catamaran was built in GRP by the talented French shipyard Outremer, renowned for the seaworthiness and performance of its yachts. She is robust, rigid, safe, comfortable, very seaworthy, and fast. Simply put, this Outremer 55 is without a doubt the most accomplished and the best choice for long-distance cruising with a small crew.<\/p><br \/>\r\nPerformance is at the heart of this high-end multihull:<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nSlim hulls, generous platform clearance, a highly rigid and lightweight construction compared to other catamarans of the same size, and daggerboards for excellent upwind sailing and surfing speeds of up to 30 knots downwind. In addition, these daggerboards allow access to shallow waters.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nDuring their circumnavigation, daily distances covered ranged from 150 to 300 nautical miles, with 220 to 240 miles being the norm.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nIts outstanding performance is also due to top-of-the-line equipment:<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nBulkheads, forward beam, compression beam, davits, and steering wheels are in carbon fiber. Carbon fiber rotating mast and boom by Lorima, Kelvar rigging, Facnor furlers for genoa, staysail, and gennaker, Harken winches (3 x 60 electric + 2 x 60 manual + 1 x 50 electric), Dfi Incidence sail wardrobe (104 m\u00b2 full-batten mainsail + 64 m\u00b2 genoa + 30 m\u00b2 staysail + 15 m\u00b2 storm jib + 130 m\u00b2 gennaker + 185 m\u00b2 asymmetric spinnaker).<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nThe deck layout is perfectly optimized for short-handed sailing:<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nDual helm stations are sheltered aft of the roof, within reach of the winches and well offset for optimal visibility across the entire deck. The rigid bimini protects the cockpit and supports part of the solar panels. The other solar panels are mounted on the davits. The two stairways provide easy access to the transoms and boarding the tender is very straightforward.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nThe cockpit is spacious, with a foldable table and two comfortable benches. It can be enclosed with side and rear panels. At the bow, the two large trampolines ensure safe passage in rough seas and can be fitted with sunbathing mattresses when at anchor.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nA large sliding glass door provides level access to the interior. The platform layout is ergonomic and welcoming, thoughtfully designed for comfort at sea. This open living space is bathed in natural light thanks to the numerous forward and side windows. It features a large central island and the galley to port, a central navigation station with instrument console, chart table, and helm seat. The saloon\/dining room is starboard with an L-shaped sofa and a height-adjustable extendable table that can convert into an additional double berth.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nThe cabins are in the hulls. This catamaran can sleep 8 people in 4 cabins:<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n. In the port hull, the owner's double cabin is on aft with the bathroom and toilet separate. Forward is an office that can convert into a guest cabin with bunk beds.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n. In the starboard hull, there is an aft double cabin and a forward double cabin, sharing the bathroom amidships.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nPowered by two 60 hp Volvo engines, this vessel reaches a top speed of 10 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots. Cruising at 6 knots on a single engine, fuel consumption is reduced to just 3 liters per hour, giving a range of 1,000 nautical miles.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nBoat well-equipped with quality materials and efficient solutions to ensure full autonomy, controlled weight, high reliability, and low maintenance:<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n. No need for air conditioning thanks to excellent ventilation throughout the boat.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n. No generator is required thanks to 2,200W of solar panels (1,400W on the bimini + 800W on the davits) and 17,000W of lithium-ion batteries.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n.
