Description

This magnificent displacement boat was designed by René Van der Velden. The gray hull and white superstructures highlight her classic and timeless design. Built to Lloyds standards, in steel and aluminum, by Moonen Yachts shipyard in the Netherlands, renowned for its high-quality yachts, this vessel is very robust, seaworthy, and comfortable. Furthermore, her low fuel consumption of 80 liters per hour allows a range exceeding 2,200 nautical miles. She can even cross the Atlantic at an economical speed of 9 knots.

She can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins and 3 crew members in 2 cabins.

The aft flybridge provides storage for the tender and jet ski, which can be maneuvered by a hydraulic crane. Under the hard-top is a U-shaped dining area to port. To starboard, a sunbathing and a bar cabinet with a sink, barbecue, refrigerator, and icemaker complete the amenities. The pilot station is forward on the port side, near the stairs leading to the wheelhouse.

A sunbathing and a bench seat are available on the foredeck. In the cockpit, the other outdoor dining area, consisting of a bench seat, four chairs around a table, and a refrigerator, is completely sheltered by the flybridge overhang.

The interior design, by K&CT Schmuckstücke, offers a contemporary and sophisticated atmosphere, with dark woodwork contrasting with the bright white upholstery and ceilings. Natural light bathes the vast main deck space thanks to the numerous side windows.

The large L-shaped lounge faces the audiovisual unit topped by a retractable television. The dining room, with a semicircular sofa and four chairs around an oval table, is to starboard. It faces the bar, extending from which is the very modern, fully equipped Siemens galley, all white and stainless-steel. A day head is located in the passageway leading to the wheelhouse. It is worthy of a large yacht, with its full-width instrument console, steering wheel, comfortable helm chair, and two watertight doors providing access to the gangways.

The lower deck is dedicated to the cabins and crew quarters:

The owner's suite occupies full beam amidships. It is equipped with a king-size bed, a sofa, a desk, and a large dressing room. The VIP cabin with its queen-size bed is forward. The two guest cabins have twin beds. Each cabin has its own en-suite bathroom.

The crew quarters are separate aft from the engine room. It is directly accessible through a watertight door in the transom and from the cockpit via a dedicated staircase. It includes two cabins, a bathroom, and the mess.

Powered by two 475 hp Caterpillar engines, this vessel reaches a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, offering a range of 2,200 nautical miles. This can be extended to 3,300 nautical miles at 9 knots.

This yacht is well equipped, with: Stabilizers underway and at anchor, bow and stern thrusters, two generators, reverse cycle air conditioning system, full navigation electronics and satellite communications, two watermakers, swimming platform, 3.30 m tender with 40 hp, etc…

The boat underwent a major 16-month refit in 2021/2022, with new hull and superstructure repainting. Her engines and generators were rebuilt at ‘zero hours’, a new galley has been installed, and the swimming platform was extended by 1.50 m. This private yacht, never chartered, is in exceptional condition.
