Legendary Sailing Yacht built for the owner of the renowned Perini Navi shipyard. She is one of three Perini Navi 24m models built at the time. The two others disappeared, this makes this one a unique boat in the world. Designed by Murphy & Nye and built from monolithic polyester, this 48 GT yacht is very robust and seaworthy. One of her many qualities is her pivoting centerboard allowing access to shallow waters by reducing her draft from 4.40 m to 1.60 m.
She can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 cabins and 3 crew members in 1 cabin.
This yacht is easy to handle with a single crew thanks to her intelligent and high-end equipment: Furling mainsail on a mast, furling genoa and staysail, sails trimming with hydraulic captive winches controlled from the helm station by joysticks. The deck of this boat is magnificent, featuring high-quality teak. The bow is flat with a dedicated dinghy compartment. The very clear rear receives the magnificent helm station with its imposing console featuring all the necessary equipment for maneuvering, both under sail and under power. The huge steering wheel is a unique piece and very pleasant to use.
A small door provides access to the raised cockpit, furnished with a half-moon-shaped lounge/dining area opposite the bar cabinet containing a refrigerator and barbecue. A folding bimini top with a stainless-steel tubing frame provides shade from the sun.
The very welcoming interior of this yacht was tastefully designed by Francesca Fossa.
At the entrance, under the roof, is the raised navigation station with all the navigation instruments and a small stainless-steel steering wheel used to steer the boat under cover. At the bottom of the stairs, we discover the daytime living area, consisting of a saloon on the port side, with an L-shaped sofa in front of a coffee table and the multimedia system, and a dining roof on the starboard side, with an L-shaped bench seat and two chairs around a rectangular table. The double guest cabin, the crew cabin (with 3 berths), and the galley are located forward. On aft are the other guest cabin, with twin beds, and the owner's cabin.
Powered by a 230 hp Caterpillar engine with adjustable pitch propeller, her top speed is 12 knots and her cruising speed is 10 knots.
Boat well equipped, with: 50 hp Lewmar bow thruster, 27 kW + 17 kW Kohler generators, Condaria reverse cycle air conditioning system, full electronics and Inmarsat satellite communications, 120 l/h watermaker, hydraulic side ladder, Lomac tender with 15 hp built into the foredeck, etc…
